Cogne Macchine Tessili S.p.A. (COGNETEX) and Elettronica GF Srl (EGF)’s FIBRESPIN is a Phase 2 winning project from H2020 SME Instrument.

FIBRESPIN consists on the industrialization and commercialization of an innovative textile production machine, designed for producing spools of wool/cotton fibres.

COGNETEX, based in Imola (Italy), have been manufacturing high quality textile machinery for more than 60 years. In order to execute all necessary hardware and software developments, COGNETEX have offered EGF, an Italian hardware-software manufacturer based in Faenza (€4.3million turnover / 40 employees) to participate in ths project as a partner to develop and exclusively supply the necessary hw-sw systems needed in FIBRESPIN.
Key stakeholders, early adopters and an identified list of 120+ clients worldwide from our 270+ customers’ portfolio represent the basis for FIBRESPIN development.
